He noted that the Energy Commission continuously monitors progress and has seen sustained efforts by the oil industry, particularly Pars Oil and Gas Company, to advance the national project.<\/p>\n<p>He highlighted the Ministry of Oil\u2019s constructive engagement with Parliament in addressing lawmakers\u2019 questions and concerns, as well as the numerous meetings held between the two sides. He said the recent Economic Council approval should serve as a starting point for accelerating implementation and making up for delays.<\/p>\n<p>Shahraki said coordination among contractors, Pars Oil and Gas Company, the Ministry of Oil and Parliament had improved in recent weeks. With the support of other key stakeholders, he added, there was reason to expect some of the accumulated delays to be recovered and project implementation to proceed more quickly.<\/p>\n<p>On the need to address declining reservoir pressure at South Pars, Shahraki said the Energy Commission would support the project\u2019s executive team, expressing hope that the initiative would become a successful and effective model for the country\u2019s industrial sector.<\/p>\n<p>He also pointed to opportunities for companies of all sizes to contribute to the project. Small, medium-sized and large industrial firms could invest in equipment supply and participate in various stages of implementation, benefiting from their involvement in a major national project.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond its economic impact and potential to create added value across the production chain, the project could generate jobs, promote entrepreneurship and foster the development of new domestic knowledge and technologies, Shahraki said.
