RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0The chief executive of Pars Oil and Gas Company said South Pars has set a record of 730 million cubic meters of gas a day and that 30 million cubic meters have been added to the field\u2019s stable rich-gas production capacity over the past two years.<\/p>\n

According to Roydad Naft, Touraj Dehghani spoke on September 24, 2026, at a meeting with the chief executive and board of the National Iranian Oil Company hosted by Pars Oil and Gas Company. He said the capacity increase over the past two years came from development and completion work on the Phase 11 project, infill schemes, and the finishing of 35-month projects.<\/p>\n

Relying on that added capacity and continuous work by Pars Oil and Gas Company, South Pars recorded 730 million cubic meters of gas a day \u2014 a mark he attributed to ongoing development and operations to hold and raise output from the shared field.<\/p>\n

The number of active drilling rigs on the company\u2019s projects has risen from four to 13, Dehghani said.<\/p>\n

With support from the oil minister and NIOC, three new rigs have been added to Iran\u2019s drilling fleet, increasing capacity for development work in the Persian Gulf and for maintaining gas output from South Pars.<\/p>\n

He credited the results to Pars Oil and Gas Company staff and to backing from the Oil Ministry and NIOC, calling them the product of joint work across operations, development, and headquarters.<\/p>\n

The company is responsible for a large share of the oil industry\u2019s upstream gas-production mission and over the past two years has carried out development and production programs while also facing war and regional tensions, he said.<\/p>\n

After the Phase 14 South Pars refinery was damaged in the 12-day war and four other refineries were hit in the Ramadan war, Pars Oil and Gas Company was assigned to rebuild three refining complexes at the South Pars field. In recent months, most of the company\u2019s execution capacity has gone to that reconstruction.<\/p>\n

Debris removal and rebuilding are high-risk jobs, Dehghani said. Weekly meetings are held at the refineries to manage risk, and reconstruction continues under constant oversight of safety requirements and technical standards.<\/p>\n

He thanked the oil minister and NIOC\u2019s chief executive and board. The company has faced wide challenges in recent months, he said, but with support from senior oil-industry managers and the work of its own managers, specialists, and staff, it has kept pursuing its assignments.<\/p>\n
