The plant was inaugurated last year in September 2025 in the presence of the president. The new agreement provides stable feedstock and sets the economic terms that protect the investor\u2019s interest in the project.<\/p>\n<p>Under the contracts, NIOC will guarantee recovery of the investors\u2019 capital and a reasonable profit based on the volume of gas received, which he said should make the project attractive.<\/p>\n<p>Iran has a serious concern about supplying designed feedstock to its sour-gas processing units nationwide, Moghiseh said. Officials hope the Dehloran petrorefinery can run its full 240 million cubic feet a day of newly built capacity. That would create stable jobs in Dehloran and turn gas that had been flared into added value and revenue for the country.<\/p>\n<p>The petrorefinery has created 1,000 direct jobs and 3,000 indirect jobs, offering a substantial opening for local workers in Dehloran and nearby towns. The contract guarantees those jobs will continue, Moghiseh said.
