Shift catalysts convert carbon monoxide and steam into hydrogen and carbon dioxide, helping adjust gas composition and raise the hydrogen available to the process.<\/p>\n<p>The chromium-free high-temperature shift catalyst removes chromium compounds from the formulation, a step toward lower environmental risk and easier handling of spent material. The second product is designed for mid-range temperatures and higher carbon monoxide conversion.<\/p>\n<p>Developing the catalysts can cut import dependence, save foreign currency, shorten the supply chain and strengthen supply security for Iran\u2019s oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
