No official account of the cause or how the accident happened has been released.<\/p>\n<p>Roydad Naft reported that the fatality occurred during work at the Mahshahr utilities site. Fajr Energy\u2019s public relations office said one of the company\u2019s project employees died this afternoon after an accident at work and after being taken to the medical center in the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe exact cause and scope of the accident are under review,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n<p>Safety and technical investigations are expected to precede any further official statement on the cause and contributing factors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A Fajr Energy Persian Gulf project worker was killed in an on-the-job accident in the Mahshahr utilities sector.
