He called the performance proof of operational resolve to keep Iran\u2019s export flow intact.<\/p>\n<p>Kharg Island is Iran\u2019s main crude-export terminal and handles the bulk of the country\u2019s shipments. The T-jetty and the older Eastern jetty can berth several tankers at once and form a critical link in the loading chain. Bovard made the remarks on the sidelines of a ceremony unveiling a book series on oil workers\u2019 wartime resistance, held at the same jetty.<\/p>\n<p>Bovard had earlier said Iran\u2019s oil exports rose about 10 percent during the Ramadan war versus the prior period, with loadings up roughly 8 to 10 percent. Oil prices did not fall in that window, he added, and total export revenue increased. He stressed that the industry does not officially release exact production and sales figures for security reasons.<\/p>\n<p>Provincial accounts from the Ramadan war said Kharg was struck hundreds of times over the roughly 40-day span, but loading and exports were not cut off.
