{"id":18170,"date":"2026-08-23T04:51:34","date_gmt":"2026-08-23T04:51:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=18170"},"modified":"2026-08-23T04:51:34","modified_gmt":"2026-08-23T04:51:34","slug":"iran-grants-permission-for-a-number-of-iraqi-oil-tankers-to-pass-through-hormuz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/18170\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran grants permission for a number of Iraqi oil tankers to pass through Hormuz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"pre-content-text\"><a style=\"color: #0038a8;\" href=\"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/\">RoydadNaft &#8211; <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Iran has granted permission for a number of Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the \u200cStrait of Hormuz following repeated requests from Baghdad through various channels, Iran\u2019s state news agency IRNA reported on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"2\">IRNA said obtaining special permission for Iraqi tankers was one of Baghdad\u2019s main requests during Iranian \u2060parliament speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf\u2019s visit to Iraq.<\/p>\n<div data-testid=\"paragraph-2\" data-reader-unique-id=\"5\">Iraqi President Nizar Amedi said on Saturday that Iran had facilitated the passage of vessels carrying Iraqi oil through the Strait in recent days and Baghdad had discussed the export of Iraqi oil through Hormuz with Iranian officials.<\/div>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"19\">The issue remained complicated, he added, speaking at the Baghdad Dialogue policy conference.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"20\">Iraq \u200chas \u2060been among the countries most affected by Iran\u2019s effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
