RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0The CEO of Lavan Oil Refining Company said the refinery maintained production of gasoline, diesel and mazut during wartime, crediting employees\u2019 dedication and sacrifice for keeping operations resilient and running at the highest possible capacity under difficult conditions.<\/p>\n

According to the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company, Hamidreza Mahjoub praised Lavan refinery employees for their efforts, saying they continued to report to work despite the special circumstances in the country and the difficulties of traveling to Lavan Island from different parts of Iran.<\/p>\n

He said the employees\u2019 sense of responsibility and commitment ensured uninterrupted production of strategic petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel and mazut.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlongside maintaining production, we consider protecting the livelihoods and economic security of our employees and their families among our primary responsibilities,\u201d Mahjoub said.<\/p>\n

He added that despite challenges caused by attacks on refinery facilities, there had been no workforce reductions or delays in the payment of employees\u2019 salaries and benefits.<\/p>\n

Mahjoub said the refinery\u2019s operational and support activities also continued throughout the period. Ongoing programs, operational projects, spare-parts procurement and support services proceeded without interruption, he said.<\/p>\n

Reconstruction Programs Aim to Strengthen Resilience<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mahjoub said reconstruction and major maintenance, or overhaul, programs were carried out to increase operational readiness, restore production capacity to pre-attack levels following the Third Imposed War, and prevent disruptions to production.<\/p>\n

He highlighted the role of employees in keeping the refinery operating despite difficulties traveling to Lavan Island, damage to facilities and the country\u2019s challenging conditions.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir continued presence at the refinery prevented any halt in production and the supply of petroleum products,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mahjoub identified continued production, maintenance programs, improved efficiency and maximum use of available capacity as key factors in improving the refinery\u2019s economic performance.<\/p>\n

He said stronger economic performance would not only enhance the refinery\u2019s ability to preserve jobs and support employees\u2019 livelihoods but also help protect shareholders\u2019 interests.<\/p>\n

The refinery\u2019s major shareholders include the Social Security Organization, the Justice Shares program and banks\u2019 pension funds, Mahjoub said.<\/p>\n
