{"id":18025,"date":"2026-08-13T11:48:29","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T11:48:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=18025"},"modified":"2026-08-13T11:48:29","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T11:48:29","slug":"iran-holds-2nd-place-in-opec-oil-output","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/18025\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran holds 2nd place in OPEC oil output"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"pre-content-text\"><a style=\"color: #0038a8;\" href=\"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/\">RoydadNaft &#8211; <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Iran\u2019s crude oil production rose by 26,000 barrels per day in July 2026, reaching 2.478 million barrels per day and maintaining the country\u2019s position as OPEC\u2019s second-largest producer after Saudi Arabia, according to the organization\u2019s latest monthly oil market report.<\/p>\n<div class=\"item-body\">\n<div class=\"item-text\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">OPEC\u2019s August 2026 report said Iran\u2019s oil production increased from 2.451 million barrels per day in June to 2.478 million barrels per day in July, based on secondary-source data.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.shana.ir\/d\/2026\/08\/12\/4\/3267683.jpg?ts=1786560888000\" alt=\"Iran holds 2nd place in OPEC oil output\" width=\"644\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Saudi Arabia remained OPEC\u2019s largest producer, pumping 7.352 million barrels per day in July. Iraq ranked third with output of 2.621 million barrels per day.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Total crude oil production by OPEC members rose to 23.632 million barrels per day in July, up 1.659 million barrels per day from June.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Meanwhile, combined crude oil production by countries participating in the OPEC+ cooperation agreement reached 37.655 million barrels per day in July, an increase of 1.424 million barrels per day from the previous month.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.shana.ir\/d\/2026\/08\/12\/4\/3267369.jpg?ts=1786557541000\" alt=\"Iran holds 2nd place in OPEC oil output\" width=\"548\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Iran\u2019s Heavy Crude Price Falls<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The report also showed a decline in the price of Iran\u2019s heavy crude in July. The grade fell from $90.77 per barrel in June to $82.07 per barrel in July.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">OPEC\u2019s reference basket also declined by $6.76 during the month, averaging $82.99 per barrel.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Global Oil Demand Seen Rising in 2027<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">OPEC forecast global oil demand will increase by about 600,000 barrels per day in 2026 to 105.74 million barrels per day.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The outlook for 2027 is stronger, with OPEC projecting global oil demand to rise by about 2.2 million barrels per day.
