{"id":17881,"date":"2026-08-02T05:30:02","date_gmt":"2026-08-02T05:30:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=17881"},"modified":"2026-08-02T05:30:02","modified_gmt":"2026-08-02T05:30:02","slug":"turkey-iraq-sign-one-year-oil-pipeline-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/17881\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkey, Iraq sign one-year oil pipeline deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"pre-content-text\"><a style=\"color: #0038a8;\" href=\"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/\">RoydadNaft &#8211; <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Turkey and Iraq signed a one-year agreement on maintaining use of the crude oil pipeline between the \u200ctwo countries, Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"2\">The agreement extended a decades-long bilateral arrangement that expired on Monday which allows the operation of Baghdad&#8217;s only functioning export \u2060pipeline, the Iraq-Turkey Pipeline (ITP).<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"5\">&#8220;While our efforts continue toward a new long-term agreement for this pipeline&#8230; we have implemented this transit arrangement covering a daily capacity of 750,000 barrels,&#8221; the minister said on X.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"18\">Bayraktar said he had a &#8220;productive&#8221; meeting in Ankara with Iraq&#8217;s oil minister and his delegation and \u200cthey \u2060signed the one-year deal between Turkish state energy company BOTAS and Iraq&#8217;s state oil companies SOMO and NOC.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"19\">The extension allows time for talks on a more comprehensive \u2060agreement.
