The maintenance, known as pigging, was conducted within the operational area of the 10th Gas Transmission Operations region.<\/p>\n<div class=\"item-body\">\n<div class=\"item-text\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Pigging involves sending a device, or &#8220;pig,&#8221; through the pipeline to remove accumulated deposits from the inner walls. Ramin Nik-Kholq, manager of the 10th Gas Transmission Operations region, stated that this regular maintenance is crucial for ensuring the stability of gas transmission and enhancing the safety of the network.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The pigging program for gas pipelines adheres to guidelines set by the National Iranian Gas Company&#8217;s Transmission Coordination and Supervision Department.
