{"id":17025,"date":"2026-04-08T07:46:42","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T07:46:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=17025"},"modified":"2026-04-08T07:46:42","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T07:46:42","slug":"global-crude-oil-prices-today-8-april-2026-brent-crude-falls-to-94-76","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/17025\/","title":{"rendered":"Global Crude Oil Prices Today (8 April 2026) \/ Brent Crude Falls to $94.76"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\"><p><span class=\"pre-content-text\"><a style=\"color: #0038a8;\" href=\"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/\">RoydadNaft &#8211; <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Oil prices fell below $100 a barrel on Wednesday after US President Donald Trump announced that he had agreed a two-week ceasefire with Iran, conditional on the immediate and safe reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n<p>According to Roydad Naft, Brent crude futures declined by $14.51, or 13.3 percent, to $94.76 per barrel, while US WTI crude futures dropped by $17.16, or 15.2 percent, to $95.79 per barrel.<\/p>\n<p>The shift by Trump came shortly before his deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz \u2013 through which 20 percent of the world\u2019s oil passes \u2013 or face widespread strikes on Iranian non-military infrastructure. Trump wrote on social media: \u201cThis will be a two-way ceasefire!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Iran also stated that if attacks against it were halted, it would stop its own attacks, allowing safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz for two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The war between the United States, Israel, and Iran caused oil prices to post the largest monthly gain in history in March, rising more than 50 percent.
