RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Iran has invited Emirati investors to participate in major projects across its economy, the country\u2019s economy minister said during a meeting with the United Arab Emirates\u2019 new ambassador to Tehran.<\/p>\n

Seyed Ali Madanizadeh, Iran\u2019s minister of economic affairs and finance, told Khaled Abdullah Belhoul that trade and economic ties between the two countries are extensive, describing the United Arab Emirates as Iran\u2019s second-largest foreign trade partner.<\/p>\n

While bilateral trade volumes remain significant, Madanizadeh said efforts should focus on facilitating trade and financial exchanges and expanding banking cooperation to further strengthen economic relations.<\/p>\n

He pointed to large, unnamed investment projects across various sectors of Iran\u2019s economy that could offer opportunities for Emirati investors.<\/p>\n

Government-issued investment licenses were among the incentives available, he said, adding that such guarantees could enhance the attractiveness of projects.<\/p>\n

The minister also highlighted opportunities in the digital economy and underscored Iran\u2019s geographic position as a transit corridor providing access to northern regional markets.<\/p>\n

For his part, Khaled Abdullah Belhoul, ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Iran, expressed hope that the two countries\u2019 joint economic committee, scheduled for next year, would provide a platform to expand bilateral trade and economic cooperation.<\/p>\n
