This adjustment could also support New Delhi\u2019s efforts to secure a favorable trade deal with the United States, including potential tariff reductions.<\/p>\n<p>Breakdown of the deals:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>1 million barrels of Abu Dhabi\u2019s Murban grade from Shell<\/p>\n<p>\u2022<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>2 million barrels of Upper Zakum grade from trader Mercuria<\/p>\n<p>\u2022<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>1 million barrels each of Angola\u2019s Hungo and Clove grades from Exxon<\/p>\n<p>\u2022<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>2 million barrels of Brazil\u2019s Buzios grade from Petrobras, under an optional supply contract with flexible pricing terms<\/p>\n<p>Pricing details were not disclosed, as is standard in such confidential agreements between buyers and sellers.<\/p>\n<p>India\u2019s imports of Russian crude fell to their lowest level in two years in December, while OPEC countries\u2019 share of Indian imports reached an 11-month high, according to trade data.<\/p>\n<p>Following Russia\u2019s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, India became the largest buyer of discounted Russian seaborne crude.
