{"id":16573,"date":"2026-01-04T04:46:11","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T04:46:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=16573"},"modified":"2026-01-04T04:46:11","modified_gmt":"2026-01-04T04:46:11","slug":"venezuelas-oil-facilities-undamaged-by-u-s-strike-sources-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/16573\/","title":{"rendered":"Venezuela\u2019s Oil Facilities Undamaged by U.S. Strike, Sources Say"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\"><p><span class=\"pre-content-text\"><a style=\"color: #0038a8;\" href=\"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/\">RoydadNaft &#8211; <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Venezuela\u2019s state-run oil production and refining activities were operating normally on Saturday and sustained no damage from a U.S. military operation aimed at removing the country\u2019s president, two sources familiar with the operations of energy company PDVSA told Reuters.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. forces captured President Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, U.S. President Donald Trump announced, following months of intense pressure over allegations of drug trafficking and illegitimate rule.<\/p>\n<p>While the port of La Guaira near Caracas\u2014one of Venezuela\u2019s largest ports, though not used for oil exports\u2014reportedly suffered significant damage, according to one of the sources, PDVSA\u2019s core oil infrastructure remained unaffected.<\/p>\n<p>In December, Trump imposed a blockade on oil tankers entering or leaving Venezuelan waters and the U.S. seized two cargoes of Venezuelan crude.
