Participants reviewed a comprehensive report on physical and operational progress and assessed the status of drilling, production and surface facilities development. The committee also evaluated contractor performance and approved the project\u2019s latest financial statements.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Employer-side JMC members stressed the strategic importance of the Sepehr and Jofeir fields in Iran\u2019s oil production portfolio, calling for balanced development, production from the Ilam formation, and increased heavy crude output alongside light crude.
