RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0The secretary-general of Iran\u2019s Petrochemical Employers Association said preventing pollution and advancing development projects through modern global technologies represent a strategic step toward national progress. He added that the petrochemical sector must move toward balanced growth by relying on skilled and specialized human resources.<\/p>\n

According to the National Petrochemical Company, Ahmad Mahdavi-Abhari made the remarks Friday during a visit by members of Parliament\u2019s oversight caucus on the oil, gas and petrochemical industries to the Bidboland Persian Gulf Gas Refining Complex. He said the facility is one of the country\u2019s most significant investments in petrochemicals and environmental protection, and has successfully consolidated its position in the sector in recent years.<\/p>\n

Referring to the supreme leader\u2019s emphasis during provincial trips on resolving long-delayed energy projects, he said the Bidboland project had been left unresolved for years, and transferring it to the Persian Gulf Holding was a strategic decision. \u201cToday, Bidboland has reached a point where it not only supports the national industry but also delivers extensive environmental benefits,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mahdavi-Abhari praised the role of expert managers in executing major projects and commended Bidboland\u2019s leadership team, saying the complex has demonstrated how expertise and sound management can smooth the path of development.<\/p>\n

Highlighting the company\u2019s economic gains, he said about $1.35 billion worth of exports were made from the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone in the first half of this year, with Bidboland accounting for 35 percent of that figure \u2014 a major achievement for the country\u2019s petrochemical industry and economy.<\/p>\n

He described the project\u2019s future as bright, noting that what is visible today represents only part of its overall impact. The value chain created by propane production and downstream products such as PDH and other complementary projects will generate further results soon, he said.<\/p>\n

Mahdavi-Abhari also thanked former and current managers of Persian Gulf Holding for their contributions to advancing the Bidboland project, saying the complex is the result of years of dedicated work by leaders who paved the way for its progress.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
