{"id":16188,"date":"2025-11-27T07:48:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-27T07:48:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=16188"},"modified":"2025-11-27T07:48:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T07:48:07","slug":"irans-esfahan-refinery-lpg-recovery-project-reaches-96","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/16188\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran\u2019s Esfahan Refinery LPG recovery project reaches 96%"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\"><p><span class=\"pre-content-text\"><a style=\"color: #0038a8;\" href=\"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/\">RoydadNaft &#8211; <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Iran\u2019s Esfahan Oil Refining Company announced Wednesday that its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) recovery project from isomerization unit off-gases has reached 96% physical progress and is on track for commissioning by the end of the current Iranian calendar year.<\/p>\n<p>Pejman Ghasemi, the refinery\u2019s projects manager, said the facility will process approximately 14,000 m\u00b3\/h of sweet off-gas currently burned as fuel, yielding 3.6 t\/h of LPG and 3.8 t\/h of raw hydrogen.<\/p>\n<p>The recovered LPG will be sent to existing fractionation units, while hydrogen will feed the refinery\u2019s PSA purification system.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the higher market value of LPG versus the natural gas it replaces, the project is projected to generate an extra $8 million in annual revenue for the refinery.<\/p>\n<p>Remaining mechanical, piping and electrical works are underway.
