RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0The head of Iran\u2019s Passive Defense Organization said the South Pars Gas Complex safeguarded national energy security by maintaining continuous production during the recent 12-day conflict and by implementing passive defense strategies, supported by the dedication of its workforce.<\/p>\n

According to the South Pars Gas Complex, Gholamreza Jalali on Monday, commended the complex\u2019s exceptional performance during the 12-day imposed war at a meeting of its passive defense committee. He said the resilience of vital energy infrastructure and full implementation of passive defense requirements in the oil and gas industry must be strengthened.<\/p>\n

Jalali noted that during the unequal 12-day conflict, the South Pars Gas Complex maintained stable production of gas and byproducts, demonstrating exemplary performance. He said this major achievement illustrates the bravery, expertise and determination of the company\u2019s employees and specialists, who work in pursuit of Iran\u2019s dignity and strength.<\/p>\n

Developing Protective Protocols for Facilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jalali added that one of the key strengths of the country during the recent imposed conflict was the passive defense capabilities within the armed forces and industrial sectors. He emphasized the need to assess threats, develop protective protocols for energy facilities, strengthen cyber and electronic preventive measures, and safeguard human resources as strategic priorities for the South Pars Gas Complex.<\/p>\n

Underscoring the importance of enhancing the resilience and immunity of critical energy infrastructure, Jalali said the enemy\u2019s strategic mistake in the 12-day conflict was underestimating the unity of the people and oil industry workers. \u201cThis solidarity was the main factor behind the enemy\u2019s defeat,\u201d he said. \u201cToday, too, we must pursue the complete implementation of passive defense requirements across all sectors with vigilance and full preparedness.\u201d<\/p>\n

He noted that despite rising energy demand during the recent imposed war, thanks to the efforts and dedication of oil industry personnel and smart management, no shortages of gas or petroleum products were reported, even in remote areas. He said this success is a proud chapter in the history of Iran\u2019s oil industry and the result of tireless, round-the-clock work by its committed workforce.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
