{"id":15680,"date":"2025-10-08T03:59:22","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T03:59:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=15680"},"modified":"2025-10-08T03:59:22","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T03:59:22","slug":"refinery-site-for-farzad-b-gas-field-finalized","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/15680\/","title":{"rendered":"Refinery site for Farzad B Gas field finalized"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\"><p><span class=\"pre-content-text\"><a style=\"color: #0038a8;\" href=\"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/\">RoydadNaft &#8211; <\/a><\/span>\u00a0The site for constructing the onshore refinery of the joint Farzad B gas field has been finalized using advanced scientific methods and comprehensive environmental and technical studies, according to the project manager.<\/p>\n<div class=\"item-body\">\n<div class=\"item-text\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Keyvan Tariqati, project manager for the Farzad B gas field development, announced the decision on the sidelines of the second specialized workshop on site selection studies for the field\u2019s onshore facilities, the Pars Oil and Gas Company reported.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Tariqati said the refinery site for the Farzad B development project\u2014one of Iran\u2019s major national energy projects\u2014was selected based on environmental considerations, civil defense requirements, natural risk assessments, social and economic conditions, access to infrastructure, and proximity to offshore installations.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He added that the team applied modern multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) techniques to determine the optimal location.
