RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Iran Gas Transmission Company stably supplied 260 billion cubic meters of natural gas across the country in the 12-month period from September 2024 to August 2025, the company’s managing director announced.<\/p>\n

Peyman Khezraei emphasized the company’s vital role in the national energy supply, noting that transmission continued without disruption despite unprecedented network pressure and a prolonged cold spell during the winter of last year.<\/p>\n

He said four new gas pressure boosting facilities, equipped with 11 turbo-compressor units and 255 kilometers of high-pressure pipeline, were commissioned during that period. For the first time in the history of Iran’s gas industry, 208 turbo-compressors operated simultaneously last winter, marking a major leap in operational capacity, Khezraei added.<\/p>\n

Other key achievements from the past year he cited include:<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0 Setting a daily transmission record of 880 million cubic meters on Feb. 1, 2025.<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0 Performing overhauls on 55 gas turbines.<\/p>\n

\n

*\u00a0\u00a0 Monitoring and repairing more than 1,300 defects in high-pressure pipelines.<\/p>\n

\n

*\u00a0\u00a0 Commissioning 20 gas pressure boosting facilities without spare units to ensure winter network stability.<\/p>\n

Marking Government Week, Khezraei credited the successes to the gas industry employees’ solidarity, expertise and commitment. “In these 12 months, we did not just transfer gas, we defended the country’s energy security,” he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
