He said his company \u00a0owns the country\u2019s largest integrated underground asset and infrastructure, a position that provides a unique opportunity to optimize resource management.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Dehqani noted that South Pars, the world\u2019s largest gas field, is now in the second half of its lifespan. Its natural pressure decline, he said, has created a significant challenge for Iran, and overcoming it while compensating for reduced output will require strategic decision-making, interagency coordination and broad action.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He added that simultaneously managing 39 operating platforms, producing 70% of Iran\u2019s gas and overseeing more than 1,000 offshore staff at the joint field involves extensive ongoing operations.
