RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0The Persian Gulf Star Refinery now supplies 20% of Iran\u2019s total fuel basket and 40% of the country\u2019s gasoline consumption, according to the company\u2019s new CEO, Vahid Ghanei.<\/p>\n

As reported by Roydad Naft, Ghanei stated that the refinery currently processes 455,000 barrels of crude oil per day, and this capacity will increase to 480,000 barrels per day upon the completion of Phase 3 of its development plan.<\/p>\n

He noted that through the efforts of Iranian engineers, daily gasoline production at the refinery has increased by 5 million liters. \u201cWe are working to sustain and stabilize this increased output,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The CEO also emphasized the company\u2019s key future priorities: reducing emissions, improving environmental standards, and attracting investment for ongoing expansion projects.<\/p>\n

In the same event, Ahmad Moradi, a Member of Parliament representing Bandar Abbas and a member of the Energy Committee, praised the company\u2019s social responsibility initiatives. \u201cThe construction of a hospital by Persian Gulf Star is a valuable and lasting contribution that will meet Hormozgan Province\u2019s hospital bed needs for the next decade,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Moradi further stressed that the people of Hormozgan should directly benefit from regional development a goal that can be achieved through the social programs of industrial companies. He also revealed that the country\u2019s gasoline consumption recently exceeded 200 million liters per day, and part of this increased demand was met by the refinery\u2019s surplus capacity.<\/p>\n

Another MP representing Bandar Abbas, Mr. Jarrarah, highlighted the significance of completing the Persian Gulf Star Refinery during a period of sanctions. \u201cThis achievement proves that major industrial projects can be accomplished with the determination of Iranian engineers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He added that even during the recent 12-day war involving Israel, gasoline production across Iran remained uninterrupted thanks in part to the continued efforts of Persian Gulf Star\u2019s engineering teams.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, Vahid Ghanei was officially appointed as the new CEO of Persian Gulf Star Oil Company.<\/p>\n
