RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0The CEO of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) emphasized that cooperation among petrochemical holdings and companies, along with the implementation of NPC\u2019s approved programs during the 12-day imposed war, helped achieve planned objectives in emergency management.<\/p>\n

According to NPC, Hassan Abbaszadeh, during a meeting with company managers on Monday, praised the round-the-clock efforts of NPC\u2019s various departments during the conflict. He stated that solidarity and collaboration among petrochemical holdings and companies played a crucial role in meeting the country\u2019s needs in recent days.<\/p>\n

Abbaszadeh noted that NPC\u2019s regulatory and governance role\u2014particularly in Mahshahr and Asaluyeh\u2014ensured companies operated with a strategic plan. During the emergency, all sectors of the industry came together, coordinating with NPC\u2019s crisis management committee to control the situation.<\/p>\n

Full safety compliance, HSE coordination essential<\/p>\n

The deputy oil minister stressed the need to eliminate potential risks for communities near industrial sites, highlighting the critical role of NPC\u2019s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department. Petrochemical plants must strictly adhere to regulations and guidelines, he said.<\/p>\n

Abbaszadeh referenced a meeting with deputies of the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade, noting that downstream industries\u2019 needs were met thanks to effective cooperation.<\/p>\n

He added that all petrochemical facilities and projects must ensure full emergency preparedness through safety measures. Their emergency committees must coordinate closely with NPC\u2019s HSE department and local emergency response teams.<\/p>\n

The NPC CEO also underscored the importance of documenting lessons from the recent war, stating that all aspects must be considered by management to ensure stable production.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
