He noted that last year, the company achieved a significant environmental milestone by reducing flared gas by 345 million cubic feet per day. This year, the target is to cut an additional 200 million cubic feet daily.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The NISOC CEO also highlighted collaborative projects with Khuzestan\u2019s Department of Natural Resources and Watershed Management. Under a joint agreement, efforts are underway to combat desertification across more than 24,000 hectares of the province\u2019s arid lands, reflecting the company\u2019s commitment to social and climate responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Piramoun concluded, &#8220;Sustainable development in the oil industry can only be achieved alongside environmental protection.
