{"id":14228,"date":"2025-05-16T11:38:14","date_gmt":"2025-05-16T11:38:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=14228"},"modified":"2025-05-16T11:38:14","modified_gmt":"2025-05-16T11:38:14","slug":"brent-crude-oil-price-rose-to-64-82-cents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/14228\/","title":{"rendered":"Brent crude oil price rose to $64.82 cents"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\"><p><span class=\"pre-content-text\"><a style=\"color: #0038a8;\" href=\"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/\">RoydadNaft &#8211; <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Oil prices edged up on Friday, heading for a second consecutive weekly gain on easing U.S.-China trade tensions, although the optimism was somewhat offset by higher supply expectations from Iran and OPEC+.<\/p>\n<p>Brent crude futures were up 29 cents, or 0.5%, at $64.82 per barrel at 1054 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 27 cents, or 0.4%, to $61.89.<\/p>\n<p>Both contracts fell more than 2% in the previous session on the prospect of an Iranian nuclear deal, which could result in more barrels being released onto the global market.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The enthusiasm resulting from progress in relations between the U.S. and China allowed the oil price to recover,&#8221; said Harry Tchiliguirian, group head of research at Onyx Capital Group.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But OPEC+ accelerates the unwinding of its voluntary supply cuts and the U.S.-Iran nuclear talks are still ongoing, keeping the barrels of the latter still flowing to China.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>U.S. President Donald Trump said the U.S. was nearing a nuclear deal with Iran, with Tehran &#8220;sort of&#8221; agreeing to its terms.
