{"id":14197,"date":"2025-05-14T02:15:02","date_gmt":"2025-05-14T02:15:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=14197"},"modified":"2025-05-14T02:15:02","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T02:15:02","slug":"investment-in-upstream-oil-sector-key-to-economic-growth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/14197\/","title":{"rendered":"Investment in upstream oil sector key to economic growth"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\"><p><span class=\"pre-content-text\"><a style=\"color: #0038a8;\" href=\"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/\">RoydadNaft &#8211; <\/a><\/span>\u00a0The vice chairman of the Iranian Parliament\u2019s Energy Committee said investment in the upstream oil sector is a strategic move that drives economic growth, improves livelihoods and enhances public services.<\/p>\n<div class=\"item-body\">\n<div class=\"item-text\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Mohammad Bahrami called the 29th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition an opportunity to address past shortcomings and strengthen Iran\u2019s position in the regional energy market.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;Active and targeted participation by capable investors in the oil industry is essential,&#8221; Bahrami said. &#8220;Events like this exhibition, which highlight industry potential, can be a major step forward if backed by thorough research and clear priorities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He emphasized that upstream investment boosts productivity, increases added value, expands exports and improves oil product processing. &#8220;The outcome will not only be macroeconomic growth but also better living standards and public services,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Bahrami noted that investing in oil and gas is not just an economic decision but a strategic choice for shaping a developed future.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The 29th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition was held May 8-11 in Tehran under the slogan &#8220;Oil Industry Investment Ensures Economic Growth and Development,&#8221; reflecting this year\u2019s strategic priorities. The event focused on investment opportunities, new technologies, domestic companies\u2019 capabilities and partnerships with foreign investors.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This year\u2019s exhibition featured 2,200 domestic and international companies.
