He noted that this significant output supplies the majority of Iran\u2019s consumed gas and gas condensates, as well as feedstock for 40% of the country\u2019s gasoline production.<\/p>\n<div class=\"item-body\">\n<div class=\"item-text\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Shahab Gerami made the remarks Tuesday during a specialized meeting on investment opportunities in gas field development at the &#8220;Transformation in Investment and Development in Iran\u2019s Upstream Oil and Gas&#8221; event. Highlighting Pars Oil and Gas Company\u2019s strategic role in energy supply, he said the company\u2019s skilled workforce enabled it to set a daily production record of 716 million cubic meters of rich gas at South Pars during last year\u2019s cold season.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Gerami also discussed four major fields managed by Pars Oil and Gas Company under the IPC (Iran Petroleum Contract) model at the event. The Golshan and Ferdowsi fields hold a combined 24 trillion cubic feet of in-place reserves, while the Kish and North Pars fields also have substantial gas reserves.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The director noted that these fields contain varying levels of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide compared to other developed gas fields.
