RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0The CEO of the South Pars Gas Complex emphasized that this year\u2019s overhaul process has been more organized than in previous periods and announced that refineries are being prepared for stable production ahead of the upcoming winter.<\/p>\n

Gholamabbas Hosseini noted that the complex, with its workforce of 20,000 skilled employees, supplies a significant portion of the country\u2019s gas needs.<\/p>\n

He stated that last year, through the implementation of key measures and the exclusive use of domestic goods, over 200 billion cubic meters of sweet gas was delivered to the national grid. This achievement marks an increase of about 3.5 billion cubic meters compared to the previous year (1402).<\/p>\n

Regarding the most notable accomplishments of last year\u2019s overhauls, he added: “Replacing molecular sieve adsorbents and catalysts, inspecting pressure equipment, performing preventive maintenance on rotating, electrical and precision instruments, as well as corrective engineering measures and addressing lingering construction defects in refineries were among the key actions taken during the overhaul period.”<\/p>\n

\u00a0Alongside the major overhauls, periodic maintenance of critical turbo-compressor and turbo-generator equipment was also successfully completed, relying on the expertise of the complex\u2019s domestic workforce.<\/p>\n

The CEO also highlighted the purchase and installation of turbines in the complex\u2019s refineries last year, stating: “The procurement and installation of three turbines\u2014one at the sixth refinery and two at the eighth refinery\u2014were among the major tasks successfully completed before the start of the overhauls.”<\/p>\n

\u00a0Transparency in 1404 overhaul plan<\/strong>\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Hosseini pointed out that overhauls began this year on April 6 (at the South Pars ninth refinery) and stressed: “One of the major challenges in previous years was the lack of transparency in the refinery overhaul schedule. However, this year\u2019s plan has been clearly defined and communicated in full.”<\/p>\n

He expressed gratitude to the CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company and the director of production coordination and supervision, noting that, for the first time in recent years, overhaul planning began in March, and operations are now underway with full readiness of operational and support teams. He added: “We expect the refineries to be prepared for stable, high-quality production this winter.”<\/p>\n

Referring to key initiatives underway during this year\u2019s overhaul period, Hosseini said: “Connecting the South Pars 13th refinery to inter-refinery pipelines is one of the most critical tasks being executed. Upon successful completion, the refinery\u2019s daily production will increase from 34 million cubic meters to 47 million cubic meters, adding nearly 13 million cubic meters to the complex\u2019s output.”<\/p>\n

He also cited the handover of the South Pars 13th refinery as another major task this year, with operations launched in a spirit of teamwork and collaboration. “Through the innovative efforts of our employees and experts, we have initiated LTSA (Long-Term Service Agreement) projects in refineries, including cryogenic pump LTSAs, Siemens turbines, Zarya turbines, and sulfur recovery unit outsourcing. We hope these measures will be successfully completed.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
