RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Iran’s Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad dismissed the US policy of exerting maximum pressure to curb Iran’s oil exports as a failed strategy, emphasizing that reducing the Islamic Republic’s oil exports to zero is an unattainable goal.<\/p>\n

The minister, responding to US President Donald Trump’s recently signed executive order aimed at cutting Iran’s oil exports to zero, stated: “This is a wish for them, but they will never achieve it.”<\/p>\n

Regarding the policy of maximum pressure or the use of such rhetoric to reduce Iran’s oil exports to zero, he clarified: “This is a failed policy. It has been tested before and yielded no results. If they try it again, they will fail once more.”<\/p>\n

The oil minister noted that, given the current circumstances, specialized oil industry personnel across various sectors\u2014from production to export\u2014are implementing appropriate and strategic measures.<\/p>\n

He added: “The more restrictions imposed on us, the more sophisticated our measures will become.”<\/p>\n

Paknejad, speaking on Saturday during a visit to the Parchin Gas Pressure Boosting Station, highlighted the achievements of Iran’s oil industry since the Islamic Revolution.<\/p>\n

He recalled that when foreign entities left the oil industry, it may have been difficult for them to believe that Iranian colleagues and oil industry workers could manage such a complex industry from upstream to downstream without their presence.<\/p>\n

The ministeradded: “Today, we see self-sufficiency in various sectors of the oil industry, including equipment and the development of oil and gas fields. With these capabilities, the oil and gas industry is largely managed domestically.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
