RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Iran\u2019s Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad emphasized the continuation of energy cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan during a meeting with the Azerbaijani Prime Minister\u2019s deputy on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Paknejad, in a meeting with Shahin Mustafayev and his accompanying delegation, stated that such meetings play a significant role in enhancing bilateral relations across various fields.<\/p>\n

He noted that neighboring countries hold special priority in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with Azerbaijan occupying a unique position among them.<\/p>\n

Paknejad stressed the importance of expanding energy cooperation between the two countries, adding that joint working groups would be established to examine and follow up on strategic and technical collaboration.<\/p>\n

Shahin Mustafayev, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, highlighted that this was the second meeting with Iran\u2019s oil minister in the past three months.<\/p>\n

He emphasized the importance of reciprocal visits and meetings, which help both sides better understand each other\u2019s capacities and infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Mustafayev noted that Iran-Azerbaijan relations are built on shared religious, cultural, and fraternal ties.<\/p>\n

He added that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev highly values these relations, believing they are firmly rooted in the mutual interests of both nations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
