RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0According to Masoud Afshar, the deputy head of NIDC for drilling operations, the drilled wells consisted of 12 development, and 40 workover ones, IRNA reported.<\/p>\n

As reported, 39 of the drilled wells were in the operational zone of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC), six wells were drilled in the fields under the supervision of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC), two wells were dug by Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC), three in the fields under the operation of Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), and two wells were dug in fields developed by private contractors.<\/p>\n

Since the beginning of this year, the drilling area of the wells has reached 65,806 meters, he said and added that the figure has increased by 18,342 meters compared to the previous year\u2019s same period.<\/p>\n

NIDC owns 73 light, heavy, and super-heavy drilling rigs, of which currently 10 are in operation in various areas.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, NIDC Managing Director Hamidreza Golpayegani announced that the company dug and completed the digging operations of 195 oil and gas wells since the government of late President Raisi took office in August 2021.<\/p>\n

Golpayegani said the wells were discovery wells, development-delineation wells, and workover wells.<\/p>\n

The NIDC managing director declared the company\u2019s infrastructure improvement in line with the programs of the Oil Ministry as the most important achievement of NIDC in the past year.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the company\u2019s annual board meeting, Golpayegani said NIDC\u2019s performance in various operational, technical, engineering, support, services, and headquarters departments has been significant and improved in the previous year compared to the preceding two years.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccording to the statistics of our planning department, the productivity index [of the company] reached 62 percent last year, while this figure was 48 percent in 1400,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Pointing to the company\u2019s strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, the official stated: \u201cAlthough the past year’s performance in all sectors shows growth and an upward trend, we should not be satisfied and try to get the company to an even better position this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Considering the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC)\u2019s strategies for strengthening the presence of domestic companies in the development of the country\u2019s oil fields, NIDC, as a major NIOC subsidiary, has been supporting such companies by lending them drilling rigs and other necessary equipment.<\/p>\n
