RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Recent advancements in the oil industry indicate that sanctions have not hindered the growth and development of the oil industry.<\/p>\n

The vice chairman of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Ramazan Ali Sangdovini, made the remarks adding that “Iran is developing its capacities in the oil industry and will strive to regain its share in global oil markets for as long as necessary.”<\/p>\n

He continued that the Iranian oil industry is currently on a path of development, and its progress compared to before the revolution is significant.<\/p>\n

The MP said that in recent years, several phases of the South Pars gas field have become operational, showing the country has achieved these successes under the shadow of sanctions.<\/p>\n

The vice chairman of the Energy Commission noted that although sanctions impose costs on the country, they cannot stop the train of development, especially the development of the oil industry.<\/p>\n

“With the prudence of its hardworking employees and workers, the oil industry continues its path of development despite the sanctions,” the MP said.<\/p>\n

\u00a0According to Shana, the U.S. Treasury Department announced<\/em>fresh sanctions<\/em> on Friday targeting 16 companies<\/em> and 23 tankers linked to Iranian<\/em> oil trades<\/p>\n

In response, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, Ismail Baqaei Hamaneh,\u00a0 condemned the new U.S. sanctions against Iran\u2019s energy sector, which were imposed under the pretext of Iran\u2019s defensive actions against the military targets of the Zionist regime, as illegal and unjustified.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
