RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0In a joint meeting, the Energy Ministers of Iran and Belarus emphasized the readiness of the two countries regarding cooperation in the field of gas turbine production.<\/p>\n

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 4th SCO energy ministers’ meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan, on Friday, IRNA reported.<\/p>\n

Stating that Belarus is an advanced country in terms of industry and technological level, the Iranian minister said in the meeting that this country is at a good level in terms of electronics, mining machinery, and various equipment.<\/p>\n

He further mentioned Iran\u2019s advances in the technological and industrial sectors, saying that the two countries could have good cooperation in such areas.<\/p>\n

\u201cIran is an advanced country and has seen significant growth in the industrial field after the revolution and considering the potentials the two countries\u2019 relations in the economic field need to be strengthened,\u201d Mehrabian said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are ready to cooperate with Belarus in terms of sales and after-sales services in the field of gas turbines,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Viktor Karankevich for his part referred to the exchange of experience between Iran and Belarus in the field of construction, maintenance, and repair of gas turbines.<\/p>\n

While emphasizing comprehensive and mutual cooperation with Iran for the design and construction of power plants and equipment, he praised Iran’s specialized experience in the field of gas turbines.<\/p>\n

The 4th SCO energy ministers’ meeting was convened in Astana, Kazakhstan, on Friday, with the Iranian Energy Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian in attendance.<\/p>\n

During the gathering, the SCO members stressed the need to enhance cooperation in the areas of production, transmission, and consumption of energy.<\/p>\n

Mehrabian, on the sidelines of the international event, said that the member states signed a cooperation document on Friday.<\/p>\n
