RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Iran\u2019s oil production rose by 50 thousand barrels a day reaching 3.3 million barrels per day in April, the International Energy Agency (IEA) announced in its latest monthly report.<\/p>\n

According to the report, total production of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), comprising 13 members, stood at 26.870 million barrels per day in April, up by 120 thousand barrels per day against a month earlier.<\/p>\n

The IEA\u2019s monthly report announced that Iran had produced 3.3 million barrels of oil per day in April, up by 50 thousand barrels when compared with a month earlier. Iran\u2019s oil production in March stood at 3.250 million barrels per day.<\/p>\n

This amount of daily oil production is the highest since Donald Trump, the former United States president, decided to withdraw Iran\u2019s deal with 5 world powers on its nuclear program. On July 14, 2015, the P5+1 (China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States), the European Union (EU), and Iran reached a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to ensure that Iran’s nuclear program will be exclusively peaceful. Despite being a multilateral agreement, the United States withdrew the deal, imposing the hardest sanctions, known as maximum pressure, against the OPEC member.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
