{"id":10700,"date":"2024-05-11T11:21:19","date_gmt":"2024-05-11T11:21:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=10700"},"modified":"2024-05-11T11:21:19","modified_gmt":"2024-05-11T11:21:19","slug":"iran-turkmenistan-ready-to-join-hands-on-gas-industry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/10700\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran, Turkmenistan Ready to Join Hands on Gas Industry"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\"><p><span class=\"pre-content-text\"><a style=\"color: #0038a8;\" href=\"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/\">RoydadNaft &#8211; <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Deputy Chairman of the Turkmengas State Concern Murad Archaev on Saturday highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation with Iran in the gas industry, saying that the export of techno-engineering services as well as gas swap as two important topics in the field collaboration.<\/p>\n<div class=\"item-body\">\n<div class=\"item-text\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Speaking at a meeting with Managing Director of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Majid Chegeni, on the sidelines of the 28th Iran International Oil, Gas, \u200eRefining and \u200ePetrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2024), Archaev noted that Iran enjoys an important place in the global gas industry.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWe also want to develop and strengthen ties with the Iranian side on the swap of energy, while in the field of techno-engineering services, Iranian companies can carry out some projects in Turkmenistan,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In the meeting, Chegeni, referred to the long and constructive history of cooperation between Iran and Turkmenistan in the gas industry, and said the development and strengthening of ties between the two sides in the gas industry will benefit both countries.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Referring to the remarkable potentials of the NIGC in various sectors of the gas industry, he added that his company is fully prepared to develop joint cooperation in various fields, including gas swaps and the export of technical and engineering services.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Iran will host the ministerial meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) this year, Chegeni announced adding that \u201cWe hope Turkmenistan, as an important country in the gas industry, will soon become a member of the forum.
