RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0The value of trade between Iran and the European Union (EU)\u2019s member states reached \u20ac847 million in February, registering a 30 percent growth year on year, according to the data released by the European Union’s statistics office Eurostat.<\/p>\n

Based on the Eurostat data, the trade between the two sides stood at \u20ac780 million in February 2023.<\/p>\n

As reported, the EU\u2019s exports to Iran in February 2024 stood at \u20ac392 million, registering a 32 percent increase compared to the same month in 2023 when the EU\u2019s exports to Iran were reported to be \u20ac297 million.<\/p>\n

The European Union’s imports from Iran also reached \u20ac76 million in the mentioned month with a 24 percent increase compared to 2023. EU imported \u20ac61 million of goods from Iran in February 2023.<\/p>\n

According to Eurostat, Germany was Iran\u2019s top trade partner in Europe in February.<\/p>\n

Germany exported \u20ac141 million of goods to Iran and imported \u20ac19 million from Iran. German exports to Iran grew by 46 percent year on year, but imports didn\u2019t change much.<\/p>\n

As previously announced by Eurostat, trade between Iran and the EU stood at \u20ac380 million in January.<\/p>\n

Based on the Eurostat data, the trade between the two sides fell 10 percent in the mentioned month compared to the same month in the preceding year when the figure stood at \u20ac424 million.<\/p>\n

the EU\u2019s exports to Iran in January stood at \u20ac311 million, registering a decrease of nine percent compared to the same month in 2023 when the EU\u2019s exports to Iran were reported to be \u20ac344 million.<\/p>\n

The European Union’s imports from Iran also reached \u20ac69 million in the mentioned month with a 15 percent decrease compared to 2023. EU imported \u20ac80 million of goods from Iran in January 2023.<\/p>\n

Germany was also Iran\u2019s top trade partner in Europe in January. The country accounted for 38 percent of the Iran-EU total trade in the said month. The total trade between Iran and Germany reached \u20ac119.7 million in the first month of 2024.<\/p>\n
