RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Iran\u2019s government spokesman said on Tuesday the 13th administration is seeking to broaden cooperation with energy partners.<\/p>\n

Ali Bahadori Jahromi speaking in a press conference pointed to President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi\u2019s last week trip to Algeria, the first visit by an Iranian president to the North African country in almost 14 years, and said the president took the opportunity to hold bilateral and multilateral meetings and discuss cooperation in the gas sector.<\/p>\n

Heading a high-ranking economic and political delegation, Raeisi paid a two-day visit to the Algerian capital Algiers, where the 7th Gas Exporting Countries Forum Summit of Heads of State and Government in the Algerian capital Algiers was held.<\/p>\n

According to the government spokesman, Raeisi held talks with his counterparts from Algeria, Tunisia, Bolivia, Iraq, Libya, Qatar, and Mozambique.<\/p>\n

Oil Minister Javad Owji, who accompanied Raeisi, also met the top officials of different countries in Algeria and discussed the expansion of cooperation.<\/p>\n

Shifting to Iran\u2019s record foreign trade, Bahadori Jahromi said the country\u2019s economic growth was between 3.5 percent and 4 percent in most of seasons, adding the oil and gas sector registered a new record, the housing sector\u2019s growth was positive, and the agricultural sector failed to achieve its goal due to drought.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
